FORT WAYNE,Ind.(Fort Wayne’s NBC) — The extreme cold of the last several weeks will begin ending today. Temperatures are expected to reach or go slightly above freezing. In fact, temperatures will go above freezing Tuesday through Friday. A mix of rain and snow will develop late this evening but accumulation will be an inch or less, except up at the Michigan line where there could be a bit more. There could even be a day where we reach 40 with plain rain possible Thursday into Friday. No more extreme cold is expected for the rest of the season.

Tonight light snow then a rain snow mix. Low 30.

Tomorrow an early mix then mostly cloudy. High 33.
