Carroll and Norwell girls lose in semi-state games

LAPORTE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE'S NBC) -The Chargers went back and forth with Crown Point until the third quarter, but that's when the game opened up.

The Bulldogs pull away and Jessica Carrothers becomes a problem. The Crown Point guard had the hot hand all night, scoring 28 points in the semi-state game.

Carroll falls short to Crown Point 62-46.

In the 3A semi-state game, Norwell looked outmatched against South Bend Washington. The Knights trailed 31-10 at halftime and could never catch up.

The Panthers defeat the Knights 61-40.
