Two young men identified in triple shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - The Allen County Coroner's Office have released the names of the young men who died in the triple shooting Wednesday night.

Just after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Fort Wayne police say they responded to an unknown problem at a gas station in the 1900 block of Hobson Road between State Boulevard and Lake Avenue.

They say there was an argument.

Officers say when they arrived they discovered a vehicle stuck in snow with the three victims in and around it.

They say two young men died at the scene, the third victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Those two young men have been identified to be 19-year-old Anderson Retic and 19-year-old Joshua Cole Cooper.

Both young men were in the vehicle that the suspect, 32-year-old Joseph Bossard, was shooting into.

According to police, both young men were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

After an autopsy was completed by the Allen County Coroner's Office, the cause of death for both individuals has been determined to be from multiple gun shot wounds.

Both deaths, according to police, have been ruled a homicide.

Retic is the 5th Homicide in Allen County for 2021, and Cooper is the 6th Homicide for Allen County for 2021.

This incident remains under investigation.
