FORT WAYNE,Ind.(Fort Wayne’s NBC) — A significant winter storm will move in from the west into the Midwest on Saturday. The storm could bring our region heavy snow beginning late Saturday through the early hours of Sunday. There could also be a period of mixed precipitation including sleet. As far as timing the best chance of heavy snow will come early Sunday morning in the predawn hours. Several inches of snow are possible then, with lighter amounts later in the day on Sunday.

If you need to travel late Saturday night through midday Sunday keep up-to-date with this potential storm! Some changes in the track of the system are still possible which could bring us more or less snow. Get the latest tonight on Fort Wayne’s NBC.

Tonight partly cloudy. Low 19.
