Partly cloudy, cooler Friday

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Sunshine is set to return to the area this afternoon and this time stick around! Despite a mostly cloudy start to Friday that has kept morning lows in the upper 30s and low 40s, skies will clear through the day with sun shining through partly cloudy skies. Colder air in place will however keep high temperatures only in the mid 40s this afternoon even with some sun. As skies continue to clear overnight, it will get very cold. Lows will fall below freezing into the upper 20s by early Saturday so be sure to bundle up if you are out late.

Clearing skies will make for a pretty nice Halloween Saturday with mostly sunny skies and warmer weather in store. Highs will reach the mid 50s, but you still might want to have a light jacket or a warm costume if you have any plans to head outside. Overnight lows Saturday will fall to near 40 before a few more clouds move in Sunday.

Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!
