Kendallville transitions to a drive-thru trick-or-treating event

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - Due to COVID-19 concerns, instead of a traditional trick-or-treat, Kendallville will hold a trick-or-treat curbside service on Halloween.

Families in Kendallville can drive up to the corner of Main and Rush Streets (in front of City Hall) to pick up pre-packaged 'treat bags' for their children.

City officials encourage families to not only dress up but to decorate their vehicles for the drive-thru event.

Organizers are also accepting donations for the event and you can drop them off to the chamber during normal business hours.

The drive-thru trick or treating event will begin on Saturday, October 31 at 10 a.m. and will go until the candy bags are fully gone.
