FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - The East Allen County School District have updated their fan participation policy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting Monday, September 28, in order to attend varsity football games, tickets must be purchased by the end of the day on Wednesday. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the gate.
School officials will continue to require face coverings, enforce social distancing and require for families to sit together.
According to EACS officials, tickets will be handed out to four per student (athlete/band member) for each football game.
Once football games are over, school officials ask that everyone exit the facility in order to not congregate in large groups.
For all other sporting events, EACS plans to sell tickets before the scheduled event. A set number of tickets will be available to students starting at senior to freshmen, based on the space available.
