FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The annual Warm & Cozy fundraiser is the only event that benefits the Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center.
The SATC opened their doors on January 29, 1996 with 9 nurses and provided care to a patient within the first 10 minutes of announcement of opening. Since that day they have been available 24/7/365.
They serve 17 counties in Northeast Indiana, including Allen County.
In addition to collecting crucial DNA evidence that can bring justice to a victim of sexual assault, they provide counseling services to victims as well as raise awareness in the community.
You can support the SATC by registering for free for the 8th annual Warm & Cozy, which will be a live, virtual event this year because of the pandemic.
Fort Wayne's NBC morning anchor Julian Teekaram will be hosting the event once again this year.
Live music will be provided by the legendary Trainhoppers and there will be a live and silent auction.
