FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE'S NBC) - Northrop reaches for the .500 mark this upcoming season.

The team will break in a new quarterback, but shows depth in other positions.

Seven offensive lineman are back for another round of high school football, along with running back, Damarius Cowen.

Cowen lead the team with six touchdowns last season and helped the Bruins reach 2,000 yards rushing.

"We've been able to score points the last few years. We think we can do that again. It's going to be more run dominated and that's something that we like," Northrop Head Coach Jason Doerffler said.

The Bruins will face the reigning SAC Champs of Homestead in the first game of the season.
