FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - Concordia grad, D.J. McCall played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants last season, opening a door to further his education.

McCall used the NBA G League scholarship to build on his degree in analytics.

"Basically I'm working on getting certified in a programming language called SQL, structured query language. It's really not the most difficult language to learn but it's basically an a language that interacts with databases," he said.

McCall hopes to use this new certification paired with basketball analytics later on for an NBA team.
