Whitley County babysitter who police say was watching an infant that died under her care, found guilty on all three charges

WHITLEY COUNTY (Fort Wayne's NBC) - On Friday, prosecutor D.J. Sigler confirming 30-Year-Old Courtney Kincaid has been found guilty of three charges including aggravated battery, neglect of a dependent resulting in death, and battery resulting in the death of a child under 14.

Sigler says the jury wen't into deliberation around 3 p.m. before reaching a a verdict.

He says kincaid has been remanded into custody.

Police say 11-month old Emma Grace Leeman died in 2018 under Kincaid's care.

Police say Kincaid changed her story several times about what happened and now claims she dropped the baby on a concrete patio.

Kincaid's sentencing date is set for August 27th.
