A Friday evening crash sends two people to the hospital

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - According to police, a crash Friday evening, where investigators say alcohol was a factor, sent two people to the hospital.

Around 5:30 p.m. Friday, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department says Lyle Renfrow was driving west on County Road 56 when he crossed the center line and went into a ditch, then corrected and got back on the road, in the path of a car driven by Tracy Morris.

Renfrow and Morris crashed head-on, totaling both cars.

Morris and her passenger were taken to a hospital for injuries.
