Police searching for two persons of interest in fatal Coliseum Inn shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Police say they are looking for two persons of interest in the recent fatal motel shooting as well as information on shootings from the Fourth of July weekend.

Officers responded to a shooting at 11 p.m. on Wednesday at the Coliseum Inn at 1020 N Coliseum Blvd. where 41-year-old Jean Duperat was shot inside one of the rooms.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives say the persons of interest in the homicide are Jessica Sexton and Jeremiah G. Stevenson.

Police are also seeking information on two shootings from the Fourth of July weekend at 1900 Drexel Avenue and 5400 Corydon Court.
