Heat & sunshine continues

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Following a very hot holiday weekend the heat will stick around throughout our new work week. Morning temperatures will start in the low 70s and then rise into the low-to-mid 90s by the afternoon. Expect this pattern to persist all week as we keep this stagnant air in place across the Midwest. Monday will stay mostly dry and mostly sunny, but as more humidity fills in from the southwest as we head through the week chances for isolated afternoon pop-up showers will increase.

Factoring in humidity, heat index values will be in the upper 90s even pushing 100 by mid week. The heat wave will keep things very steamy through the upcoming weekend as climate outlooks indicate that above average temperatures and below average rainfall will be the story into mid-July.

Have a great Monday and stay cool!
