One dead, two injured after Friday morning triple shooting

FORT WAYNE Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - An early morning shooting on the 2400 block of Werling Drive leaves one man dead and another with serious injuries.

Fort Wayne Police arrived at the scene around 1:15 a.m. after a report of a party armed. When they went into the house they found one man with gunshot wounds. He was declared dead at the scene.

While on the scene, police were told about a second victim. Officers were able to locate him inside a car in the area of Anthony Boulevard and Pettit Avenue.

Police called medics to the scene and he was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, but the injuries were non-life threatening.

Around 4:30 a.m. police said they believed they found a third victim from the shooting off the 3300 block of Plaza Drive.

The shooting is still under investigation by FWPD.
