Showers and thunderstorms are likely this afternoon as a cold front slowly pushes through the area this afternoon. Before then, it will be a hot and humid morning with overnight lows remaining in the low to mid 70s under mostly cloudy skies. Wednesday will be our most humid day this week which will help to fuel showers and storms later today. High temperatures will rise into the mid 80s before the front sweeps through initiating showers in the late afternoon. Expect showers and storms to move through from north to south with heavy rain and gusty winds at times as the most likely impact. Showers will move out overnight as lows fall to the low 60s.
Thursday will start humid following the rain. With the temperatures in the low 60s and lots of moisture across the area, there is a chance for some fog early Thursday before skies turn partly cloudy and highs reach the mid 80s.
Have a great Wednesday!
