Fort Wayne police arrest 10 people during Sunday protest

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) -- Monday evening, Fort Wayne police released a list of 10 names of people officers say they arrested Sunday during downtown protests.

9 of the 10 people were listed as Fort Wayne residents.

1 is listed as residing in Phoenix, Arizona.

Charges include disorderly conduct, rioting, and failure to leave an emergency area.

One person was also charged with obstructing traffic, and another had two outstanding warrants.

Friday, Fort Wayne police say they arrested 29 people.

Saturday, officers say they arrested 68 people.

On both days, the demonstrations began peacefully but changed as the day wore on.

Violence has broken out at protests across several cities where groups first peacefully gathered in response to the death of George Floyd in Indianapolis.
