FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - Early voting locations will open across Indiana on Tuesday, one week before the actual spring election takes place.
Voting was initially set for early May, but delayed until June 2 because of COVID-19 concerns.
In Allen County, only one location will be open for early voting: The Grand Wayne Center.
It will be in operation daily through June 1 -- except for Sunday.
All registered Indiana voters are eligible to vote early in-person. Contact your County Clerk’s office to find locations and hours for early voting.
On election day, polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Because of the large number of vote-by-mail ballots, final results are not expected to be ready for several days.
As always, the races on primary ballots vary widely, depending on location and party affiliation, but will include the presidential contest, races for state house and senate and local measures, such as a Fort Wayne Community Schools bond referendum.
