Gov. Holcomb directs flags to be flown at half-staff to honor COVID-19 victims

INDIANA (Fort Wayne's NBC) - This weekend, Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb is directing flags to be flown at half-staff on Sunday to honor the victims who have lost their lives in the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Flags should be flown at half-staff from now until sunset Sunday, May 24.

Gov. Holcomb also asks businesses and residents across the state to lower their flags to half-staff on Sunday to commemorate the victims.

As of Thursday, COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 1,764 Hoosiers.
