FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE'S NBC) - Former Snider defensive back Luke Owens spent the last school year learning the college game at the University of Indy, before deciding to transfer back to Fort Wayne, IN with the University of Saint Francis.

The soon-to-be redshirt freshman is taking what he's learned to the Cougars and a crew that's added plenty of in-town talent over the years.

"I've talked to a couple of my buddies that are already there, and they have loved it so far," Owens said, via FaceTime.

Owens takes great leadership and a winning background with him from Snider to another program that knows winning all too well under college football's winningest active coach Kevin Donley.
