FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - On Friday, the Fort Wayne Sport Club will honor their health care workers by providing 400 free fish fry dinners to Parkview employees.
Meals will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis for their partner Parkview and Parkview Sports Medicine employees from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
As the sports club is partners with Parkview they are offering free meals to all other first responders (Police/Fire Department etc) as well.
Fort Wayne Sport Club officials tell Fort Wayne's NBC News that they are thankful for the selfless acts of serving from their healthcare community during this crisis.
They are also grateful that they can 'give back' by providing fish fry dinners to the community.
All meals have been donated by members of the Fort Wayne Sport Club and will be served curb-side by volunteers.
According to Governor Holcomb's steps to get Indiana ‘back on track’ include reopening places like the Fort Wayne Sport Club on May 24.
