House catches fire in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - A house caught fire in Fort Wayne on Sunday afternoon.

Officials with the Fort Wayne Fire Department said crews responded to 1107 Roosevelt Drive on reports of a house fire. This happened after 1 P.M.

Firefighters said when they arrived on scene, smoke was coming outside of the house. Officials said people were outside.

Fire officials said no one was inside the house.

Officials said two adults and one child got out of the house safely. They said no injuries were reported.

Fire officials said the kitchen and family room of the house caught fire.

Firefighters said crews on scene had the fire under control within 15 minutes.

Officials said the American Red Cross arrived on scene as well.
