Sweetwater unveils new $52.5 million warehouse

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - Sweetwater plans to unveil its new multi-million dollar warehouse on Monday.

On Monday, the company will unveil its new state-of-the-art facility located on its campus.

Sweetwater management said the new facility will allow them to better serve their customers. They said it will create more space for inventory and will also be used for their new technology that was custom built by their IT team. Management said the new technology will allow the company to process orders more efficiently.

Sweetwater officials said the warehouse will include nearly 480,000 square feet of usable space.

Management said they will also announce a major expansion that will include a new banquet hall and meeting spaces.

Sweetwater officials said representatives from the following firms will be in attendance:

  • Sweetwater & Weigand Construction along with Design Collaborative
  • Fortna
  • Current Mechanical
  • Shambaugh & Son Fire Protection
  • Engineering Resources, Inc.
  • Votaw Electric
  • Fox Contractors
  • Brooks Construction

The event will take place at Sweetwater located at 5501 US Highway 30 West.

The event will start at 9 A.M.
