2 people shot, seriously hurt on Fort Wayne’s south side

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) -- Fort Wayne police are working two shootings that were reported just moments apart Sunday night on the city's south side.

The first was reported just before 8 in the 200 block of Pettit Avenue where Fort Wayne police tell Fort Wayne's NBC News that one shooting victim was discovered and rushed to the hospital in very serious condition.

Police were told a second shooting victim was located in the 700 block of Dolphin Drive where a victim was discovered in serious condition.

Police haven't confirmed whether the 2 incidents are connected or whether they have a suspect or suspects in custody.
