Cold conditions settled in

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - Temperatures early plummeted to the single digits in parts of the area. Everywhere else was barely into the double digits. Afternoon highs Sunday will reach the upper teens to low 20s with mostly cloudy conditions. Breezy northwest winds are expected as well, producing wind chill numbers in the single digits and below zero at times.

Monday will remain similar, except winds will be lighter. We'll have a mix of sun and clouds. Morning lows will be a little warmer than Sunday, and afternoon highs should reach the mid 20s.

More sunshine builds in on Tuesday, and we'll likely reach the upper 20s.

Friday is looking like the best day for more wet weather around our area.
