FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE'S NBC) ▬ Tracking cold air and light fluffy snow moving in during the late morning. A dusting to 1" of snow is possible. The Fort Wayne's NBC weather team is giving this a Winter Impact Number of 1 out of 5 on our exclusive scale.
The snow will be brief ending after lunch or sooner. There will be a few slick spots that develop. The high will only get to 27°F with wind chills into the single numbers and teens. Could even see a little sun break out before sunset.
It's going to be a cold night with partly cloudy skies and a low of 15°F. Warmer air arrives Thursday with a high of 41°F and mostly cloudy skies.
Friday remains dry with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 42°F.
Saturday we could see a touch of rain in the morning and then some snow into the evening. Not expecting any snow accumulations at this time with a high of 41°F.
Sunday gets colder but is looking to remain dry with clouds. Tracking our next system to impact us Monday or Tuesday with some snow. The worst of it at this time looks like it will pass to our south. Will have to keep a close eye on things morning forward.
