FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE’S NBC) – Girls basketball teams in the fort and surrounding areas hold the first official practices on Monday.
Homestead graduates seven seniors, but the power behind Ayanna Patterson and Sydney Graber is still running.
Yet, the game plan will be different in certain areas.
“I just think the scoring is going to be a little bit different than what we’ve done in the past,” Spartans Head Coach, Rod Parker said. “We are going to work real hard this year to control the tempo of basketball games. We’re going to have to really take care of the basketball and really value every possession a little more than last year.”
