GAS CITY, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – An owner is recovering in the hospital after police say his dog brutally attacked him Friday night.
Just after 8 p.m., two Gas City Police officers responded to a home in the 300 block of East Main Street.
When they got there, officers found the man in his yard on his hands and knees.
The dog was attacking him and biting his arm.
One of the responding officers used a taser to subdue the dog, and it ran off.
Police couldn’t find it.
The man suffered severe bite wounds and had to be flown to a Fort Wayne hospital for his injuries.
