Developers: Dave & Buster’s, HomeGoods coming to Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – Developers revamping Glenbrook Square Mall tell Fort Wayne’s NBC that Dave & Buster’s and HomeGoods are coming to the shopping center.

New York-based Seritage Growth Properties announced in a second-quarter report that their 96,400 square-foot project at the Glenbrook mall is underway, and will include the arcade and the discount home furnishing store.

Seritage lists the new development as projects costing more than $20 million in the report.

A Dave & Busters spokesperson confirmed the move to the Fort, and said the opening date could be as soon as December 2020.

The spokesperson couldn’t confirm a location, but Seritage, the developers of the property, said the entertainment venue will be part of their “Shoppes at Glenbrook.”

Seritage also confirmed with Fort Wayne’s NBC that HomeGoods would be a part of their Glenbrook project.

Fort Wayne’s NBC reached out to HomeGoods for comment, as well.

Seritage is currently working to level the old Sears building and the auto center. Sears officially closed in November 2018.

The news of a Dave & Buster’s and a HomeGoods store comes after the announcement of a Portillo’s restaurant coming to the Fort — also to be located by the former Glenbrook Mall Sears.

The Chicago-style restaurant could open later this year.
