CANCELED: Silver alert declared for missing Jeffersonville man

Police are asking for help finding a man who went missing Saturday afternoon.

The Jeffersonville Police Department said they are investigating the disappearance of 69-year-old Lawrence “Larry” Haas.

Haas is described as a white male, who is about 5′ 8″ tall, is about 160 pounds, and has gray hair with blue eyes.

Police say he was last seen wearing a black cowboy hat, a camouflage jacket, a blue shirt, denim shorts, cowboy boots, and has a scar on the right side of his neck and has no teeth.

Haas was last seen on Saturday, Aug. 10, around noon in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
