FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Police were able to arrest a wanted man after using a chemical agent to flush him out of a home on the south side of town.
The Fort Wayne Police Department said officers responded to a call from a woman complaining that Lou Kitrush was trespassing on Huestis Avenue and wouldn’t leave. Police would later learn Kitrush had active warrants out for his arrest.
When police arrived, Kitrush refused to come out. He later surrendered after officers deployed tear gas into the home.
Kitrush was taken into custody on the warrant for operating a vehicle while being a habitual traffic offender.
