Ohio man accused of shooting his own brother to death

OAKWOOD, Ohio (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – A 26-year-old Ohio man is accused of fatally shooting his own brother overnight Saturday.

Just before 3 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, Paulding County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 7500 block of Road 187 in Oakwood to reports of a drive-by shooting.

Once there, detectives learned this wasn’t the result of a drive-by, but instead an altercation between two brothers that left one man dead.

Anthony J. Richcreek, 28, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest, and later died at the hospital.

His younger brother, Donald J. Richcreek, 26, was arrested at the home they shared together and charged with murder.

He’s expected to appear in court via video arraignment on Monday.
