Another day of excessive heat and humidity Saturday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – Saturday will be very similar to Friday, with heat indices easily getting into the triple digits. Afternoon high temperatures are expected to reach right around 95° with a mostly sunny conditions. A stray afternoon shower or thunderstorm is possible, but most of us will remain dry. It will get quite a bit cooler after Saturday.

As a cold front tracks through Sunday, cooler temperatures and lower humidity will be brought in. With that, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be in the 80s.

The forecast is dry again behind the front, but also a lot cooler. High temperatures Monday through Wednesday will only be around 80°.
