Fort Wayne father accused of hitting 3-month-old infant; infant suffers fractured skull, other broken bones

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – Officers said a Fort Wayne father allegedly hit his 3-month-old infant with his hands, leaving the infant with severe injuries.

Fort Wayne Police arrested 23-year-old Tristan Frayer after he allegedly hit his infant.

Officers said the 3-month-old infant suffered a fractured skull and had other broken bones in the body. While some of the fractures were new, officers said some of the other broken bones were old.

The 3-month-old was transported to a hospital for critical care.

Officers said Frayer is behind bars and is charged with battery and child neglect.

Police said Tristan Frayer’s court appearance is scheduled for July 1st.
