USF Holds High School Football Team Camp

FORT WAYNE,  Ind. (FORT WAYNE’S NBC) – The Saint Francis football staff coached seven high school teams at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium on Tuesday. Prep players practiced drills and scrimmaged. The players aren’t the only ones benefiting from this camp, the USF coaches use it as a recruiting tool as well.

“Ninety percent of our roster is from the state of Indiana, so a bulk of these kids are going to end up on our recruiting board, hopefully a lot of them end up being cougars,” Saint Francis Assistant Coach, Joey Didier said. “Today, you get to see a kid get coached by our staff, be coached by their coaches and see how well they are going to translate into a college program.”
