Rain and a few storms could slow travelers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Periodic showers and storms have been ongoing throughout the day, and a similar pattern will continue through the rest of the day. Expect scattered showers and a possible thunderstorm during the early evening hours. Scattered showers and storms will continue through at least the first half of this week.

Tonight scattered showers and a possible thunderstorm, then mostly cloudy. Low 58.

Tomorrow a few showers and storms. High 77.

Chances for showers and thunderstorms will return tomorrow, primarily in the late afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures through the week will continue to rise to the mid-80’s before chances for storms return mid-week. Tuesday looks to be the best day to travel in order to avoid any rain or storms. Temperatures will then begin to cool during the second half of the week, but it appears that we may be headed towards a drier stretch of weather. Tune into Fort Wayne’s NBC tonight for details!
