Cool breezy start to the work week

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE’S NBC) ▬ Much cooler start to the work week with 50s settling in thanks to a weekend cold front. We remain dry with a cool high of 59°F, partly cloudy skies, and winds breezy from the west-northwest at 10-20 mph with gusts up to 25-30 mph.

Tonight remains cool with a low of 42°F and partly cloudy skies. Winds are weaker from the NW 5-15 mph.

Tuesday starts cool with increasing clouds and a high of 62°F. There is a small chance for a sprinkle of rain in Fort Wayne, but most of the rain looks like it will be staying to the north and west of the city.

Thunderstorms are possible early Wednesday morning during the commute into work. We are tracking a warm front to move in and temps soar into the 70s and possibly 80s. Thunderstorms are possible into the afternoon, but most likely during the morning.

Thursday is looking pretty good with a high of 83°F and mostly cloudy skies.

We get warmer still on Friday with partly cloudy skies and 86°F.

Some thunderstorms are possible Saturday with a warm high of 82°F.

Mostly cloudy skies return for Sunday with 81°F.
