Police seeking help ID’ing shooting suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — The Fort Wayne Police Department is looking for the public’s help identifying a suspect from a shooting at SMS Property Management.

FPWD Public Information Officer Sofia Rosales-Scatena says the man in the photo is a suspect in a shooting investigation from May 10 on St. Joe Blvd.

Fort Wayne’s NBC previously reported that officers were called to the scene of a shooting at SMS Property Management around 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 10.

When they arrived, they found one victim inside the business suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital where he is said to be in critical condition. He has been identified as 56-year-old David Voltz.

Police said a male suspect attempted to rob the business and exchanged fire with Voltz.
