Focused on the Fork: Queen of Sheba

Located on East State Blvd, Queen of Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant is one of the few places where they give you instructions on how to eat the food.

That’s right! No utensils required. The experience is traditional and authentic.

Owner Saba Marcos says when she came to Fort Wayne, she noticed there were no African restaurants and that’s why she wanted to start her own.

Ethiopian food is fairly simple. A lot of veggies, with your choice of meat, seasoned with a blend of spices including ginger, garlic and paprika. And we can’t forget about injera bread, a staple of Ethiopian cooking!
