FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – Mother’s Day will be on the chilly side. Expect high temperatures in the low to mid 50s with scattered rain showers. I wouldn’t cancel any outdoor plans because of the potential for rain, but definitely take a jacket! Rainfall amounts will not be very high, and there will be a lot of dry time through the day.
The forecast takes a big turn toward drier weather and warmer temperatures this upcoming week. By the middle of the week, temperatures will be reaching the mid and upper 60s. By next weekend, it looks dry. Some of the warmest, if not the warmest temperatures so far this year are possible.
