Warmer air returns

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) ▬ Partly cloudy skies today with a high of 69°F this afternoon. Winds will be a little breezy with gusts up to 25 mph from the east.

Tonight clouds will increase along with the rain chances after midnight. Some showers and thunderstorms are possible during the morning commute Thursday. Winds will get stronger as well gusting up to 35 mph from the south. None of the thunderstorms are expected to be strong or severe. We will be tracking a high of 71°F and a cold front moving in on late Thursday night into Friday morning.

There could still be a few lingering showers Friday morning, but it will be much cooler with a high of 57°F and mostly cloudy skies.

The weekend is looking dry with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy conditions and highs into the low 60s.

Still tracking dry, but warmer weather for the new work week ahead.
