Rescue Mission prepares to serve thousands for Easter Meal

On Easter Sunday, April 21, The Rescue Mission will host their annual Easter Meal. Staff at The Rescue Mission are preparing to serve more than 2,000 Easter meals. Anyone in need of a meal is welcome.
The free meal is open to the public at The Rescue Mission (301 W. Superior Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802) and will be served from noon until 3PM.
Like all meals at The Rescue Mission, the Easter meal is made possible by donated food items from area individuals and groups and cash donations. More than 150 volunteers will help prepare and serve the meal.
Fill the Flop
The Rescue Mission is also asking for your help with a fundraiser this month.
They’re collecting men’s flip flops for their residents to use as shower shoes.
The also want folks to take pictures with their flip flops and use the hashtag #filltheflop.
