Fort Wayne paper straw plant adding dozens of jobs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – Aardvark Straws will add 70 positions in the next three months as it grows to meet a sharply increasing demand for its paper products.

The company — which is a subsidiary of Hoffmaster Group, Inc. — says 30 hires will be made immediately.

Experienced candidates can apply on the “careers” page at or directly via this link. Aardvark Straws will schedule 30-minute interviews with qualified candidates on Tuesday, April 16, and Wednesday, April 17.

Aardvark has seen a brisk business in the past couple of years with increased attention placed on the reduction of use of plastic, non-biodegradable drinking straws.

The positions that are available include wrappers, straw winders and material handlers.
