Warriors Win WHAC Tournament Championship

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (FORT WAYNE’S NBC) – The Indiana Tech women’s basketball team makes history, winning the WHAC Conference Tournament Championship. The Warriors beat Aquinas 57-41, taking home the title for the first time in program history. Kendall Knapke lead all scores with 12 points, Rachel Bell adds 11 points, and Bella Lozano-Dobbs gets it done on the glass. She pulls down 10 rebounds.

“Winning the regular season is one thing. You want to cut the nets down and win the tournament. We look at it as a three step process,” Head Coach Jessie Biggs said. “For them to come through and really finish the game was huge.”

Indiana Tech now waits for the NAIA Division II National Championship Tournament, which starts March 6th.
