Semi gets stuck on the ice, train smacks into cab

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – A semi trying to back up into a loading dock this morning ended up getting hit by a train.

Police say the semi truck got stuck in the 1600 block of Winter Street around 8 a.m. and couldn’t move because of the ice.

The officer told Fort Wayne’s NBC the semi had been there for quite some time and didn’t notify the authorities.

That’s when a train came along and hit the cab.

No injuries were reported.
