One in critical condition following shooting at Three Fountains

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Police confirm that a 19-year-old man was shot on the city’s southeast side at the 4000 block of Wayne Trace.

It happened around 9 p.m. at the Three Fountains Apartments.

Our crew at the scene learned the homicide unit was on scene.

Calls came in for reports of gunshots and those on the phone told dispatchers they saw someone laying in the street.

Police say when they arrived on scene they found 19-year-old Joshua Glen Barr unconscious suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, and at last he check remains in critical condition.

Police say they have no suspect information at this time and are canvassing the apartment complex and talking to those who live there trying to find any possible witnesses.
