Colder to finish December

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) – It’s a very mild start with 50s and our high of 55°F happening before sunrise. Rain will come to an end Friday morning. The winds will still be breezy with gusts up to 30 mph. A strong cold front will move in late Friday morning allowing 40s to settle in by the afternoon, then 30s after sunset.

The weekend will be much cooler with 30s on Saturday with mostly cloudy skies. Sunday will still be cool with a high of 40°F, but we will see a little more sunshine with partly cloudy skies on the way.

New Year’s Eve we will be tracking rain showers and more 40s. The rain looks like it should come to an end before it is time to ring in 2019 at midnight Tuesday.

New Year’s Day is looking dry but mostly cloudy with 30s.
