Bus driver, 3 kids hurt after crash with car

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WLWT) – Four people, including three children, have been hospitalized after a crash involving a school bus in Ohio Thursday morning.

The incident took place in Anderson Township around 7:50 am, NBC affiliate WLWT reports.

Police said the school bus driver was turning left when it pulled in front of another car.

The other driver was unable to avoid the bus, crashing into its right side.

The driver and three children in the car were taken to nearby hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.

Five children on the bus were taken by their parents to a local hospital to get checked out.

School officials say the bus was carrying Immaculate Heart of Mary Students.

The bus driver was cited for failure to yield while turning left.
