Remaining warm for much of upcoming week

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) — Sunday’s warmth remains in place for Monday! Expect temperatures to once again top out near the 80° mark, which is roughly 10° above average for the start of October. It will come with a mix of sun and clouds. Generally speaking, there will be more sunshine south of Fort Wayne and more cloud cover to the north. That does set up a tricky temperature forecast, but I think the substantially cooler air will stay far enough to the north that the entire viewing area will have a nice day of weather with warm temperatures.

The forecast stays warmer than average, with high temperatures routinely above 70° for most of the week. Even with the warmth, there are several chances for rain. The first will be through Tuesday. More rain is likely later in the week.
